Support and guidance, no matter where you are.
Long Distance Communication - $75
Need a lactation companion, but not close enough for in-home consultation? This option gives you 3 months of virtual, written, interaction. Ask questions and get answers within 8 hours (though usually, much quicker)!
*Written communication is not always sufficient to achieve successful breastfeeding, it may still be necessary to see an IBCLC.
Video Consultation - $100
A video chat can provide better insights than written communication. I will monitor a breastfeeding session and provide insights and advice as possible. Will include 1 month of unlimited written follow up, pending severity of questions or concerns. Must have a partner present during appointment to move camera as needed.
*You must use Google Meet for a HIPPA compliant video consult.
Extended communication - $75
This add-on is an option for ALL (in-home and virtual only) clients. Extend your virtual support until your child's first birthday, and expand on support to be offered. Receive guidance for introducing solids, surviving teething, and all of life's twists and turns that arise throughout the first year of life.
*Virtual interaction is unlikely to receive insurance reimbursement.
Payment
All services must be paid at the time of booking. There is a $50 fee for cancelling less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you do not cancel, and also are not present at the appointment, you will be charged the full service fee. There is no fee for canceling greater than 24 hours before your appointment.
Payments may be made electronically. I use SquareUp to process payments. SquareUp meets the high standards of HIPAA and the banking industry for security and privacy with regard to financial transactions. However, SquareUp may send, automatically or per your request, email or text message receipts that reveal personal health information such as the date and type of lactation visit. If you are not comfortable with this, payment may be made via cash or check instead.
Billing
I will provide a super bill that can be sent to your insurance for reimbursement. The ACA requires all insurance plans to cover preventative services including breastfeeding education and support. This does not guarantee your bill will be reimbursed. I am not currently in-network with any insurance companies. Before booking an appointment, please speak to your own insurance representative about your plan and options if your goal is to be reimbursed for my services.
